About This Course:

A Tourism Operations degree requires learning to manage travel arrangements for both domestic and foreign tourists, as well as coordinating clients, hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions as part of organising travel plans for customers. Tourism is an industry that is a very important driver of the national and local economy to generate income and better living conditions for the people of Laos.

Objectives:
  • Produce personnel with knowledge in the field of tourism management at the vocational level and to be able to apply this knowledge to the profession well.
  • Produce personnel with in-depth technical and technological know-how, to be used in strategic analysis of professional operations  service sector, particularly in hotel and tourism-related businesses, in order to meet the needs of the market and changing socio-economic conditions.
